Dear runners and supporters,

You will no doubt be unsurprised that it has become necessary to postpone the 2020 HBT5. Our first priority is the health, safety and well-being of our runners, volunteers, officials and spectators. We are closely following the guidance from the UK government and UK running bodies. Consequently, it will be impossible to hold the event on 2nd May 2020. This is of course disappointing for you and desperately disappointing for us, but more importantly disappointing for the charities that we have supported through the past 12 years.

We will continue to monitor the situation and if at all possible, arrange an alternative date in the autumn. If you have already entered the 2020 HBT5, we will carry your entry forward to the revised date, or if no suitable slot can be found, to the 2021 HBT5. Alternatively, if you would like to help support our chosen charities in this difficult time, we will donate your entry fee to the charities. We will provide details on how to do this shortly. If we do not hear from you, we will automatically carry your entry forward. All donations will be split equally between Andover Young Carers, iCan Therapy Centre, Enham Trust, Hampshire Air Ambulance and the HBT Community Centre.

If you have any questions, in the first instance, please refer to the FAQ's on our website, or click here http://www.hurstbourne5.org.uk/community/hurstbourne-5-10412/covid-19-faq/

Please stay safe and follow the government guidelines. We will get through this together.
